I spent my morning over breakfast watching more videos and gathering information about stop motion of puppets, props, sets, and paper.

I have to pivot to paper, which I am devastated about, but I want to have SOMETHING I am proud to present. I spent our meeting time redrawing the keyframes/storyboard in Procreate and created this GIF. I skipped the scenes that would have been with the puppet.

I've been playing with paper, trying to troubleshoot how to get things to move... It is as complicated as I expected, and I wish we had more time to play/practice. I hate that I feel like I have to show something I'm not proud of.

This was my practice; a house on fire. I am struggling to figure out how things layer without moving things in front. I also tried a 3D approach where things were standing up, but then the camera was in the way, and things fell over. Lighting is also an issue. UGH.

I'm running out of time for this, so I am making a paper puppet of a chicken. Who knows what I'll have to present tomorrow, since I have to get home for graduation.
