Happy Anniversary, parents! I almost died on the way in on Storrow where a distracted driver was coming at me head on. The adrenaline set the tone for the day, because I also didn't realize we had to set up by 10:30; it was a misunderstanding on my part, but I'm glad I popped upstairs in time.

Today, we saw work from Ivy, Keara, Nivea, Sydney, Angela, Shaniel, and I.

Ivy's work revolved around a story they've been writing about Angels and Demons in a Earth setting (80's, ish).

Keara's work was an experiment of oil painting on crocheted canvas with modeling paste.

Nivea is working on an ink drawing that abstracts a message about her love for her friends.

Sydney created a large crocheted piece that emulates raindrops in a pond with lilypads and ripples.

Angela is drawing a composition of her childhood animated shows that she loved. I will say that she used AI to create the image and has just been redrawing it. I am disappointed in this.

Shaniel made wings out of wood, though he said he was working on sewing some clothes to go with them, but he had no evidence of this and I call BS. Mostly, I call BS because I know him at this point to reuse old work again and again. Also, his wings had been in the same state since the first week with no change.

I presented my puppet of Kalmaia and a few paintings I had been working on that were relating to my process and how I am working through grief.

It was a long ass day, but it was nice to see everyone's work.
