Puppets. Doppelgängers. Sleepiness. Foam, everywhere.

As I work on my puppet, I feel frustrated that it is so big and that I don't have access to more materials like cardboard or straws. It makes me want to default to my comfort zone, which is sculpting versus shaping foam/fabric. Tomorrow, I will bring sculpey.

One of my favorite artists is Red Nose Studio, and I want to emulate that style in whatever I create. I was thnking about Doppleganger and the other things I put myself into and express myself with, and I keep landing on Dungeons and Dragons. I love my character, Kalmaia, and I remember I made her 2 years ago as someone I wanted to become, and I believe I have surpassed her now.

Someone confident in themselves, someone beautiful, and smart. Someone willing to take risks.

I am going to take a risk and attempt to make a short stop motion animation. I've spent the rest of my studio time studying, learning, sketching, and ideating, and I will be doing more work at home.
